Aaaaand— he was in a million things, but near the top of my to-do list: watch M. (I’ve really been hankering to see a 1930’s German film about a serial child killer. You know how it is.)

The headshot Faux News is using of Lee Harvey Oswald bears an eerie (Erie?) resemblance to Damian Lewis.
He’s quite good at playing Americans; maybe he could get a movie deal out of this…
Write this one on the calendar! My baby-of-the-family sister finally put up a non-goofy avatar on facebook. (I’m sure it will be gone next time I check… I mean, at the time-of-next-checking.)
Today’s Song of the Day is, in fact, my favorite YouTube clip ever. Ever ever. In fact, I think we may try to get a quartet together to sing this at my wedding reception some day.
Perry Como sings “If You Were the Only Girl in the World” with the Buffalo Bills; this quartet is one of my favorite groups of all time. The name may not ring a bell with you, but you’ve most likely heard these fellas before since they played the barbershop quartet in the Broadway and movie versions of Meredith Willson’s flawlessly written show, The Music Man.
For you young’uns, the little inside joke at the beginning is a reference to the fact that Perry learned to sing in a barbershop. Hard to believe this is 50 years old. *sigh*

This advertising campaign seems a strange concept, but I dig that sweet cape.
“Merlin Mann” certainly is an odd and… uh, magically masculine name.
